Open Performance Classes At the end of each semester, the Open Performance Class for pianists gives parents a glimpse into the special hour we spend together each month during the school year. Our Performance Classes provide an opportunity for students to prepare music for performance in front of their peers, readying them for more formal performance situations and building confidence and performance skills along the way. At these classes, some works are still “in progress,” but every performance opportunity brings learning, even if the piece has not been polished to perfection! Remember, the Open Performance Class is a class, not a recital. Due to the nature of the class, it is open to parents or guardians only! Please do not bring neighbors, friends, aunts, uncles, etc. They may attend our Formal Recital in March. RSVP as to which class you prefer. There are 2 classes. 10-11am and 11am-12pm. We will begin promptly at 10:00 am. Make Up Lessons …will be given to students who missed a lesson during the semester. Students scheduled for a make-up lesson will come at their regularly scheduled time, unless notified otherwise. Please remember, each student is entitled to one make up lesson per semester.
Congratulations! Open Performance Class Reminder

Student Honors
We love hearing these stories! Fun News From January 1, 2001 to January 1, 2011, CherryValleyMusic.com had over 150,000 visitors. A former Cherry Valley Music student contacted us from Hollywood, CA where he is designing video games professionally. He said, "I still play piano for fun and music studies have helped me in designing theme songs for my games." |
